Holiday Dress Code

It’s pretty hard to believe that we are weeks away from Thanksgiving, which means Christmas and Hanukkah will be here quicker than you can say naughty or nice.

Glitzy and glittery holiday party invites just might be on their way to your mailbox as we speak. After all, it is The most magical time of the year, according to the song.

I don’t know about you, but I often struggle with what to wear to holiday parties. Raise your hands in the air like you just don’t care if you are with me, darlings.

We’ve put together The Ultimate Holiday Party Dress Guide to help make these decisions easier. I love shopping NORDSTROM because they offer:
Free shipping
Free returns
Free alterations on most purchases

Eliza J Cocktail Dress
I ordered this ruffled dress early this year and absolutely love the look. It’s a fabulous cocktail dress perfect for many occasions. Although it’s still available, the pink is sold out.

For holiday cocktail parties, you can show off your favorite LBD, wear a midi length cocktail dress, jumpsuit or flirty evening separates.

Black Tie Parties: If the party or wedding invitation reads, “Black Tie”, we should be glamming it up in a floor-length gown.

Formal Parties
Formal parties or events offer more choices for guests. Women can opt for a floor length, high/low or an midi cocktail dress.

high/low gown
I must admit, this gown up close and personal was far more glamorous and feminine than the on-line photos. I love the high/low detail as well as the luxurious look and feel of the fabric.

Thanks Jodie. I do love color (like you and your moms) and think it helps brighten our faces especially as we age. We often need an extra pop of color, especially if we are allowing our hair to go grey!

      Xo, Jonet
