St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, which begs the question… what will you be hoping for on that fine day? Should the Irish luck be with you, a leprechaun, rainbow, four leaf clover or pot of gold might be in your future.

The Irish blood running through my veins is strong and true, and as luck would have it, selecting a theme for our monthly Ageless Style Linkup Series, was mine to choose.

Not surprisingly, green is our theme, and this Irish girl can’t wait to see the inspirational looks our Ageless Style Team pulls together for this linkup party.

It’s one of my favorite parts of our monthly fashion party for midlife beauties, seeing how one theme can be creativily styled 10 different ways, which provides us all with plenty of outfit ideas.

For my take on going green, I’ve paired one of my favorite minty green tops (shopping my closet) with a classic pair of black, summer-weight pants with pockets, and of course, comfy yet stylish sneakers.

I fell in love with this minty green wrap top last season and it will get a lot of wear again this spring/summer. See similar below.

Adding a color complimentary sweater tied around the neck is not only a way to chic-up your look, that sweater can later come in handy with chilly temps (been there, done that).

Of course we all know black goes with everything, but I think it elevates the chic factor when paired with green. I went back to my closet for this pair of summer pants, but we have many options, links below.

Memorable Quote:
“When a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower”

This song has a very special place in my heart, so to find it “tagged” had me at “happy”.

These groovy black quilted sneakers by Guess are one of my absolute fave pairs of comfort/sporty footwear. Although I bought them last season, the fact that they are still available and are highly rated, speaks volumes.

Oh you know, accessories, accessories, and the importance of accessories.

The California hippie girl in me was dancing about this abandoned gazebo. So filled with vibrant color and poetic quotes.

Our co-host this month is the lovely and always chic Eugenia Hargrove of Age of Grace.

Eugenia shared, “I chose the trending monochromatic look. An online source says, in fashion terms, monochromatic dressing means wearing separates of one color that has different textures and similar shades of that same color for an overall tonal look.”

I love that quote….now isn’t that the truth?
And what a fabulous top. I don’t usually think to pair pastels with black, but it’s perfect.
