weighted blanket review

What if I told you that the last three nights in a row, I’ve had some of the most restful, deep sleep in years? Upon hearing this shocking news, you might say;

I know, I know, the hubster couldn’t believe it either! Insomnia is unfortunately, one of the common side effects of menopause, so I’ve got that going for me, how about you? Sprinkle on a layer of anxiety, and odds are, the Sand Man will be skipping our homes tonight.

A NEW NON-MEDICATION
INSOMNIA SOLUTION?

Remember the days when our babies were precious little nuggets without the ability to speak? Back then, we swaddled our babies, wrapping them in a blanket to replicate the security of the womb.

Such is the theory behind the Weighted/Gravity Blanket craze.

THEM WORSE?

I was wondering the same thing, darlings. That’s why, after much research, I ordered this particular brand. YnM Weighted Blankets are designed with seven layers, more glass beads and less fiber fill which offers better temperature control for our bodies.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE & OPINION

I ordered my YnM Weighted Blanket and was instantly blown away by how much I love the snuggly feel. The tiny glass beads wrap around you like a warm hug from your mama. It’s comforting, soothing and a brilliant concept that actually works!

Btw, within moments (not kidding, serious face) of adding my new blanket to the bed, Bubba found the perfect spot and snuggled up, snoring like the big dog that he is (in his own mind). He’s claimed that spot and we are both now enjoying the multiple benefits of our weighted blanket.

The blanket is available in different sizes, weights, and colors.

I also bought one of their Duvet Covers, which is washable and will protect the blanket. The duvets are available in 12 different colors and designs.

DOES IT REALLY WORK?

It works for me, like a beautiful, peaceful dream. I fell into a deep sleep easily, stayed asleep and woke up feeling rested and very relaxed.

Now, I can’t wait to slip under my covers and blanket. I feel instantly calm and often find myself letting out deep breaths, which is also helpful to getting a good night’s sleep. If this is what it feels like to be swaddled, I completely understand why nurses teach new mom’s this comforting technique.

Have you tried the weighted blankets yet? If so, what were your results? Please tell us all about it in the Comment Section below.

We are so grateful that you’ve stopped by, we love hearing from you.

Until next time, sending much love and baskets of chocolates,

oooo, this sounds interesting! Kind of the way people were recommeding the Thunder Jacket for our Truffles as she has anxiety with storms, very bad! I know they are weighted and are compressed. this sounded like it worked quite well for you, thats great! Ill look into it.
    Have a great day!

I never thought of that, but agree with you. Bubba and Daisy share the same fears, thunder, fireworks, etc. The Thunder Jackets really do help them. Strangely enough, Bubba absolutely loves laying on my weighted blanket and my grand dog literally took over my blanket the last few nights.
