Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Unless you’ve been stranded on a deserted island, just you and the palm trees for the last half a year (hope you had sunscreen), you might have heard there’s a HUGE event coming up in England. The royal wedding of HRH Prince Henry (Harry) Charles Albert David to an American beauty, actress/humanitarian Meghan Markle will take place in but a few weeks.

If you’ve been following all the juicy tidbits about the elaborate nuptials, you might be thinking “viewing party” because they aren’t just for The Bachelor shows!

In this post, we’ve gathered all the important wedding day details, including viewing times in the United States. We’ve also found some fun and festive party goodies to make your royal wedding viewing party one your friends will talk about for years to come.

St. George Chapel England

The wedding of the year, will take place on Saturday, May 19th at 12:00 English Time (BST) at St. George’s Chapel located on the Windsor Castle Estate.

Coverage will begin in the United States on most major stations at 1:00 a.m. PT and 4:00 a.m. ET. To stay up ALL night or grab a cat nap, think I’ll flip a coin, how about you!

Windsor Castle, England

At 1:00 p.m. (BST) the bride and groom will travel along streets packed with cheering crowds via open carriage to Windsor Castle.

After the carriage procession, Prince Harry and his new Duchess will join guests from the congregation at a reception at St. George’s Hall.

In the evening, Prince Charles, father of Prince Harry, will host a private reception for the bride and groom along with their family and close friends. The location for the wedding celebration is the picturesque 33 acre estate Frogmore House located in Windsor Castle Home Park.
