Your Over 40 Style Guide

Here in the south, it’s been a crazy season. One moment it’s in the 70’s and the next, we have a freeze warning ~ feeling hormonal, Mother Nature? I heart this amusing explanation; “It’s like winter is really mad and keeps storming out of the room, then coming back yelling, AND ANOTHER THING“! Ummm, exactly!

I suppose it’s no surprise that an entire Marine Battalion couldn’t hold me back from slipping into a cheerful spring dress on a day the warmth of the sun graces the south.

I thought this lovely ocean-themed print dress was the perfect way to woo spring into staying for good. The color combos are fabulous and made it easy to add some brightly colored bling to accessorize and elevate the look.

Since spring is still noncommittal (currently 57 degrees at 4:00 p.m.) let’s have a little fun, shall we? State roll call and current temp please, leave them in the Comment Section below, so we can compare.

LOVE this pretty dress – and the colors are so fun. Well, it’s been about 42 and rainy in Seattle for about a bajillion years. The sun finally came out today so fingers crossed spring is on it’s way!

Thanks, doll. I remember all too well how we waited every spring for the sun to come and stay for a while when we lived in Portland. Sending sunny thoughts your way, sweet friend. Xo Jonet
