red floral top, red pants

Fair disclosure: I might have an unhealthy relationship with flowers. They bring me such joy, the vibrant colors, beauty of each petal and melody of flower fragrances mingling in the air.

Ahhh, such loveliness, even the squirrels in my yard seem to dance in celebration. Although in truth, it could be them dodging the two 12 pound dogs bounding through the back door to chase them!

Since spring is stalling here in the south, the good news is the pups and I still have time to lounge by the fire in our jammies. The bummer ~ I’m still waiting on the profusion of blooms that will soon fill my yard. So I decided to improvise and pretend spring had already sprung.

We can all welcome spring into our lives any time, all it takes is some bold colors with a pop of floral fun sprinkled on top. I love the beautiful pattern of this feminine blouse, the brightly colored flowers look as though they’ve been hand-painted.

I was so excited about creating my spring look that I popped open a lovely bottle of vino and shared it with two of my new friends. Note, word on the street is they are both winesarous rexes, but hey, who am I to judge mannequins?

Red is always a fun and fiery fashion choice, a hard to miss color that demands attention.

Accessories always add that exclamation mark to a great outfit and I loved this simple and affordable black bag with over-sized gold-toned ring.

Thanks, Suzanne! I do love red and the bracelet is actually a necklace, we double wrapped around my wrist. It’s always fun to think of interesting ways to restyle a piece. Wishing you a beautiful week, my friend.
