The kids and I (pictured above) are getting pretty excited about the weather forecast for the south. Daisy, Bubba and I officially said adieu to the beautiful summer season and are rolling out the red carpet for fall!

If you jumped on the embroidered fashion trend this spring and summer, you’ll be happy to know it’s one of the popular themes you can transition easily right into fall. With major fashion designers including embroidered and embellished pieces in their 2017 fall collections, wearing your embroidered jeans this fall might even earn you the title “fashionista”.

Here’s how I easily transitioned one of my favorite pairs of embroidered jeans into fall with just a few simple changes.

Top ~ I replaced my summer side tied sweater with a soft cotton jersey tee in cream.  In the winter, I could wear a mock turtle or sweater too.

JACKET ~ Layering a Knit Moto Jacket in navy over the tee nudges the look into the fall category, and the fun zipper detailing on the jacket is a nice contrast to the femininity of the floral embroidered pants.  As the temps dip, I could even try a leather bomber jacket in black.

SHOES ~ I swapped out the summery heels with my favorite pair of comfortable, cool leather booties in grey, which works well with the navy jacket.

NEKCLACE ~ The Y-Choker Gold-Toned Necklace is a nice choice for any season and worked for both seasons/outfits.

HANDBAG ~ To let fall know we mean business, I added a buffalo checked clutch in red and black, which complimented the red embroidery in the jeans.

SUNGLASSES ~ For my fall outfit, I went with a pair of tortoise shell Prada sunglasses in rich shades of blue, black and brown.
