Warning: the shoe photos contained in this post might induce extreme drooling, heart palpitations and fainting ~ proceed at your own risk.

What is it about those infamous red leather soled heels by Christian Louboutin that makes us go a bit weak in the knees?  It doesn’t matter whether you are famous (Danielle Steele was reputed to own over 6,000 pairs) or the average shoe fanatic, it’s all but impossible to avert your eyes away from absolute shoe perfection.

Now one might assume a shoe of this caliber of inspired style and glam must only be reserved for the fanciest outfits and occasions.  But hold onto your tiara princess, because Mr. Louboutin’s stunners are actually more versatile than you might think and can elevate a simple outfit to downright show-stopping.

To prove our point with a signature RED exclamation mark, we’re showing off a fantabulous pair of Louboutins three ways. Get your drool hanky ready, darlings!

I paired a classic yet comfy LBD (little black dress) I picked up last season from Loft, then added a sparkly statement choker and kept the rest of my jewelry minimal.  You don’t want to have too much going on when you are styling an outfit.  I wanted the focus to be on the shoes and simple LBD, and since these red lovelies demand attention, it wasn’t hard to do.

For this outfit that would work for both day or evening wear (depending upon where you are headed) I went monochromatic black with slacks and top but added a sporty red faux leather bomber jacket which played nicely with the Louboutins.  Again, minimal jewelry here, just a simple three layer gold-toned necklace.

Now I couldn’t resist adding a chic and classic Louis Vuitton handbag to this outfit, but I also could have gone with a black bag that wasn’t a designer brand. There is no fashion rule that says your entire outfit must be head to toe designer. In fact, most of the time, I prefer to go with one designer accessory or piece of clothing to allow it to be the shining star.

Denim jeans, oh how I love thee!  I’m most comfortable in a pair of jeans, but that doesn’t mean I need only wear them with boring shoes!  Here I’m wearing a pair of my favorite jeans, simple white tank top and that fun faux leather bomber jacket again. Notice how the jacket compliments the signature red soles of these exquisite heels?
