I’m not implying that Mother Nature might be menopausal, but the recent temperature swings have me wondering lately about ole Mama N and if she takes her sweet time while walking through the freezer section at the grocery store too!
One day it’s a balmy 70 degrees, the next day, I need a parka and ear muffs. Which is what makes choosing an outfit to get me through an entire day as challenging as helping my daughter select a prom dress back in the day. Raise your hand if you remember those days, my friends.
One thing I’ve learned from these temperature swings is that layering will save the day every time. I started my day with a scrumptious and cuddly soft pink cashmere sweater. Then I added one of my favorite finds this season, a denim jacket with removable faux fur collar. These two layers were perfect to keep me warm against the chilly morning breeze. But after lunch, the sun made a glorious appearance and I was able to ditch the jacket and show off my sweater (which is a compliment magnet).
Here’s a closer look at What I Wore Denim Jacket & Cashmere Sweater and where to get it.
