A Video Tutorial Of Balayage Hair Highlighting

woman in black dressToday’s post should really be written in French, since we will be showcasing the French hair color technique that is sweeping the globe.

It’s called Balayage, and it’s been one of the hottest beauty trends in the industry for years. Why are we seeing it everywhere from celebrities to the girl next door?

It’s a more natural alternative to foil highlights, which gives a blended sun-kissed look to hair and allows you to go longer between total color treatments.

With Balayage, my roots are touched up to cover the greys every five weeks. We touch up my roots for three appointments and on the fourth visit, Michael, like an artist, hand paints highlights below my regrow lines, for a more natural blended look. This save me time and money!

I’ve received so many kind comments and questions about my hair, I’ve brought you along to meet my hair stylist, Michael Ellis, where he explains and demonstrates both the Balayage technique and why it’s different from foil highlights.

In the summer, I go for more caramel, lighter Balayage highlights to celebrate the season and change up my look.

Have you tried Balayage? What has been your experience?

Thank you for stopping by, we appreciate each and every one of you. If you haven’t done so already, we hope you will subscribe so you never miss a post.

Until next time darlings, YOU are beautiful. Au revoir.
