Boy oh boy do I have a tail to tell, that’s why I’m taking over my human’s blog today. So it was just another dog day afternoon, or so I thought. But then, outa nowhere, my humans scooped me up and took me on a ride. I started shaking, thinking it was time to get poked and squeezed by that tall lady who wears a white coat. But this was worse!

My girl human decided it would be super duper “fun” if we wore matching outfits and went to this place with lots of round orange thingies everywhere. Don’t be fooled, my fellow four legged pals, this was a pup-napping!

She made me sit still while my dad barked out orders at me like “smile”, “look over here” and stuff. I mean, really?

I was dog tired and begged for a timeout from all the shenanigans. Mom finally put me down and went off in the sea of orange and smelly flowers.

My mom called our clothes “athleisure” or some other whakadoodle word. She was all happy about her sweat suit, how cute and comfy it was and what a great deal she got on it. Listen, all I heard was baby’s still gonna get her treats and chow!

She rambled on about shoes with strings being all fashionable n stuff. Cool mom, now can we go?

She was also going on and OOOOONNNN about clothes with lines being, what’s the word….. trendy? I’ll tell ya what’s trending, dinner and a nap!

Just when I thought I had made a great escape, I see my human slobbering all over this girl who thought she owned the place. She was tall, pretty and wearing some silly outfit that was all pink and girly. She even had on these feathers on her back and a hat. Talk about being over-dressed! Geeeesh.

Everyone there were taking pictures with HER and using words like, “adorable” and “fabulous”. I couldn’t take it anymore. No fur baby is getting between me and my human, so I had to move fast.

I jumped up and asked mommy to hold me. Then I obeyed and smiled when dad asked so we could get back to MY dog house.

My plan worked and two more sit and stays and we were outa there. Had my nose out the window sniffing and smelling all the way back home sweet home.

Let’s hope this doesn’t become a habit, or I’ll have to put myself up for adoption!
