KIM H ~ UNITED STATES
AGE ~ 53
FCO50: Describe your personal style.
KIM: Classic, chic, sophisticated and traditional is how I would describe my personal style. I like to be comfortable and look age appropriate.
FCO50: Tell us about your favorite date outfit.
KIM: Casual jeans and a blazer with a tee shirt underneath. Some long layered necklaces.
FCO50: Where do you like to shop and why?
KIM: Half of my wardrobe is thrifted. I find great up-to-date pieces thrifting. So for thrifting, I shop Goodwill or Salvation Army. The black dress I am wearing in these pictures is a Charter Club thrifted dress. I like to shop Old Navy also. They have good prices and their tops are very comfortable. Macy’s is another store I shop in. It’s a store I grew up going to and my Mom pretty much only shopped there. I like to go there cause it reminds me of her.
Bargain Fashion Tip: Try everything on – you might be a medium but in thrifted clothes you might be a small or an extra large. Kim

KIM’S BARGAIN SHOPPING TIPS
♦ Try everything on – you might be a medium but in thrifted clothes you might be a small or an extra large.
♦ Look at the clothes that are on the return rack by the dressing room – sometimes you find great things people decided they didn’t want.
♦ You have to have “time” – time to look thru all the racks of clothes
♦ Know sale days – most thrift stores have sale days where a certain color tag is 50 percent off.
FCO50: What’s your favorite piece you scored at a great price and where did you find it?
KIM: Not Your Daughter Jeans – .50 cents. Market Street Mission was the name of the store.
FCO50: What is the one beauty product you can’t live without?
KIM: Lipstick/Lip Balms – I have lipsticks all over the house and in my car. I feel I can’t talk right with dry lips.
