Plus 7 Ways to Tie A Silk Scarf

One the greatest fashion makeover tips I’ve learned over the years, is to pick several women who’s style makes your heart go pitter patter, and infuse their stand-out ideas into your own wardrobe.

Two classic style icons at the top of my personal Best Dressed List, would have to be Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn.  What did both of these trend-setting women share in common, besides the fact that their signature style is still emulated decades later?   A devotion to the soft, luxurious silk scarf, which became one of their signature accessories over the years.  Jackie O loved silk scarves so much, she wore them year-round ~ a chic way to add an exclamation mark to any look.

Doing my very best to channel the glam and polish of Jackie and Audrey, I’ve selected a long, creamy silk scarf with blush pink trim and bouquets of subtle flowers.  It takes this confidently simple business casual look and adds a dose of color and pizazz.

This baby pink cardigan is just right for the chill in our fall temps and always pairs well with a white button down shirt.
